Commercial EPC's
The EPC legislation was introduced on the 4th January 2009. Any commercial or industrial property being sold or changing leaseholder now requires a Commercial EPC prior to being advertised.
Many types of properties come under this legislation, most notably - Office, Retail, Industrial Units, Hotels even residential properties converted for commercial use.
The Commercial Energy Certificate is very similar to those produced for domestic dwellings. It will provide advice on how to make the cost effective improvements to the building to make it more energy efficient.
